Generation & Trim Notes
This page covers the Ram 2500 from the 2017 model year on: 2017-2018 trucks (the body style sold since 2010) and the redesigned trucks sold from 2019, which were refreshed for 2025. Many front-suspension parts differ between those two groups, so check the years on each part.
Ram HD trucks use coil springs up front. Rear auto-level air suspension (available on many trucks), the Power Wagon (factory lift, Bilstein shocks) and the 2023+ Rebel (standard rear air suspension) often rule out lift and leveling kits. Drivetrain, cab and bed length also change what fits.
Check Before You Buy
- Wheels and wheel spacers use an 8x6.5 in (8x165.1 mm) bolt pattern.
- Front leveling is done with coil spacers. Many kits differ for 2017-2018 and 2019+ trucks.
- Rear air suspension, Power Wagon and Rebel trucks often cannot use standard leveling or lift kits.
- Plan on an alignment after any leveling or lift kit.

Will parts made for another generation fit my Ram 2500?
Often not. Generations usually have different frames, mounts and wiring, so many parts are specific to one. Always check the fitment line on each product.
