Who this is for
Truck and Jeep owners replacing worn factory tires with an all-terrain in the same size.
Read your door sticker first
The sticker on the driver door jamb lists the size and pressure your truck came with. Trims and wheel packages change the size, so the sticker beats any chart, including this one.
Sizes below come from Wheel-Size.com's factory fitment listing for the model year shown. Other years in the same generation are usually the same, but check.
P-metric vs LT
A size with no LT in front, like 265/70R17 115T, is a passenger-rated tire. LT265/70R17 is the same height and width but built for heavier loads, with a stiffer sidewall and higher pressures. LT tires ride firmer. Half-tons can run either; HD trucks should stay with load range E.
Each link below shows the exact size and load index from the Amazon listing. Most Amazon tire listings are sold per tire, so you'll need four (five with a full-size spare).
Going bigger
A 2 in leveling kit on a half-ton commonly makes room for about one size taller, for example 275/70R18 instead of 275/65R18 on an F-150 or Ram. Results vary with wheel offset and trim, and bigger tires can rub, change the speedometer and cost mileage. Ask a tire shop before you go up. See leveling kit vs lift kit and 33 vs 35 in tires on a Wrangler.

FAQ
Does Octarak sell tires?
No. We don't make or sell parts. We link to the store and you buy from them.
Can I put LT tires on a half-ton?
Yes, if the size is right. They ride firmer and run higher pressure. Ask a tire shop for the right pressure.
