Half-ton truck owners choosing between the two big molded floor liner brands who want the right cab, rows and seat setup the first time.

What's the difference

Both make molded liners cut for one truck and one cab. WeatherTech FloorLiners are a stiffer, harder material with a tall lip that runs up the sides of the footwell. Husky WeatherBeater liners are a bit softer and more flexible, with raised edges and a textured top. Both hook onto the factory retention posts.

Neither one is wrong. Stiffer liners hold their shape and dump water cleanly. Softer liners grip the floor and don't slide around as much in cold weather. Pick the one you like the feel of, then focus on getting the right part number.

Get the cab right

This is where most returns come from. Floor liners are cut for one cab. On the 2021+ F-150 that means SuperCrew, SuperCab or Regular Cab. On the 2019+ Silverado and Sierra 1500 it's Crew Cab, Double Cab or Regular Cab. On the Ram 1500 it's Crew Cab or Quad Cab.

Bench seat or buckets

The front liner changes with the seats. A truck with a front bench (the fold-down middle seat) has a different floor shape than one with bucket seats and a console. Both brands sell separate sets for each, so look at your front seat before you order.

Ram 1500: New Body or Classic

Ram sold the old-body Ram 1500 Classic next to the new truck from 2019 to 2024, and they do not share liners. Many listings just say 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, which can mean either one. Rows

Some listings are front only, some rear only, and some are a full set. The price difference usually tells you, but read the title for 1st Row, 2nd Row or 1st & 2nd Row before you buy.
