Who this is for

Owners of a 2019 or newer Ram 1500 who want all-weather mats or a bed mat and want to order the right one the first time.

New Body or Classic

This one trips up a lot of people. Ram kept building the old body style after 2019 and sold it as the Ram 1500 Classic. The Classic and the new truck do not share floor mats. If your truck is a 2019 or newer and the dash looks like the 2013-2018 trucks, you likely have a Classic. Check the window sticker or registration if you are not sure.

Everything in this guide is for the new body style.

Cab and Seats

Floor mats are cut for one cab. The new Ram 1500 comes as a Quad Cab or a Crew Cab, and the rear floor is a different size on each. Crew Cab is the bigger rear door.

The front mat also depends on the seats. Bucket seats with a center console use a different front mat than a bench seat. Some trucks also have a storage bin under the rear seat or in the floor, and the mat has to have cutouts for it.

The OEDRO TPE floor mats are listed for 2019-2024 Crew Cab trucks with front bucket seats and the under-seat storage. They are a Budget Pick. If your truck has a bench seat or no storage box, look for a set listed for that setup.

TPE vs Carpet

TPE is a rubbery plastic. Molded TPE liners have raised edges that hold snow, mud and water, and they hose off. Carpet mats look nicer but soak things up. For a work truck or a winter truck, molded liners are the way to go.

Make sure the driver mat hooks onto the factory retention posts. A mat that slides forward can get under the pedals.

Bed Length

The new Ram 1500 has two bed lengths: about 5 ft 7 in and about 6 ft 4 in. Crew Cabs usually have the short bed. Quad Cabs usually have the long one, but Crew Cabs can be ordered with the long bed too, so measure.

Measure inside the bed at the floor, from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate. The Nilight rubber bed mat is listed for 2019-2025 trucks with the 5.7 ft bed. It is a Budget Pick.

RamBox

RamBox trucks have storage boxes built into the bed sides, so the bed floor and rails are different. Many bed mats and tonneau covers say no RamBox. Check before you order.

Bed Mat or Bed Liner

A rubber bed mat lays on the floor and keeps cargo from sliding. It does not cover the bed walls. If you want the walls covered too, you need a drop-in or spray-in liner. A mat over a spray-in liner is fine and adds grip.
