Universal Recovery & Towing Gear

34 parts that are not made for one vehicle.

Before You Buy

Recovery gear has to be rated for the job and connected to rated recovery points. A tow ball is not a recovery point. Hitches and trailer wiring are vehicle-specific; ropes and shackles are not.

  • Never attach a recovery rope or strap to a tow ball.
  • Use a shackle or shackle hitch rated for the load, and check the working load limit, not just break strength.
  • Check your vehicle's tow rating before you tow with any hitch.
