Before You Buy

Tire size, wheel diameter, backspacing (offset) and lift height all affect each other. A bigger tire can rub on a stock-height vehicle, and the wrong offset can hit control arms or fenders. Start with the tire diameter you want, then check what lift and wheel specs it needs.

• Wheels and wheel spacers use an 8x170 bolt pattern.
• On 4x4 trucks, front leveling is usually done with coil spacers. Check whether a kit lists 2017-2022 trucks, 2023+ trucks, or both.
• Tremor trucks already sit higher up front, and most leveling kits do not list them.
• Raising the front can pull the axle off center. Check whether the kit needs a track bar bracket.
• Plan on an alignment after any leveling or lift kit.
• Backspacing and offset decide whether a wheel clears the suspension and fenders.
• Taller tires change speedometer readings and can strain the drivetrain; many owners re-gear.
• Check load rating and the wheel's rated weight, not just the size.
• Wheel spacers and lug nuts must match your bolt pattern, center bore, thread size and seat type. Torque them to spec and re-check after the first 50-100 miles.
